Originating from Milan Design Week and first installed in the historic courtyard of the University of Milan, housEmotion is an experiential installation that examines the evolving idea of home. Formed as a white cube composed of slender aluminum tubes, the structure appears abstract and weightless from the outside. Upon entering, visitors encounter a pitched roof that recalls the archetypal house silhouette, prompting a dialogue between the familiar image of traditional domesticity and the flat-roofed geometries of contemporary life.

This juxtaposition of interior and exterior, memory and modernity, turns the installation into a spatial reflection on how the notion of home has shifted across cultures and time. The transparency of the cube allows light, sound and movement to pass freely, blurring boundaries between shelter and openness, between personal space and the collective environment.

After its debut in Milan, housEmotion traveled to London and Dubai, engaging with new audiences in changing urban contexts. It later found a permanent home in the garden of a private residence in Monaco, where it continues to serve as a contemplative object — a quiet reminder of how architecture holds emotional resonance and universal meaning.
