Originally positioned beside former pharmaceutical factories along the linear edge of Barbaros Boulevard, this reinforced-concrete structure was transformed into Turkey’s first loft development. Ranging from single-room studios to three-bedroom apartments, the building became home to small families, artists, architects, fashion designers and journalists.

At street level, a restaurant, grocery, spa and barber anchor the project with a sense of everyday urban life. Glass volumes attached to the existing structure express the varied scales and configurations of the units within, projecting the building’s interior diversity to the outside.

Following the success of the boulevard-facing Loft development, the investor commissioned Loft Garden on the adjoining parcel to the rear. This second building rises vertically, its inward-facing terraces and shaded loggias protected from sun and wind, creating a continuity between outdoor living and the interior spatial experience.
