The Libertas Hotel project involves the reconstruction and extension of the hotel that was destroyed in the 1990s. Re-envisioned as a contemporary coastal destination, the design is organized around a series of terraces that open toward a large central atrium. This interior garden creates a continuous visual and spatial connection extending all the way to the sea.

A coastal view featuring a modern hotel along the shoreline, with rocky formations in the foreground and a hillside village of houses in the background. Clear water reflects the scenery under a sunny sky.

A modern building facade featuring large glass windows and vertical blinds. The structure has a striped roof overhead and a ramp leading to the entrance, set against a clear sky.
Interior view of a modern building featuring multiple levels with glass railings. A large glass roof allows natural light, illuminating green plants and seating areas below.
Interior view of a modern atrium with a glass roof, allowing natural light to create geometric shadows on the white walls. A railing is visible along the upper balcony.

The building’s stepped configuration allows for expansive outdoor areas, while the lower levels transition naturally into a beach club that meets the shoreline. The result is a revitalized hotel complex that restores the presence of Libertas on the coast, combining landscape, architecture and waterfront experience within a unified spatial concept.
