A modern building with a patterned facade that includes a large tree growing from its rooftop, set against a cloudy sky with surrounding greenery.

Sipopo Congress Center is a boutique convention building located in Equatorial New Guinea, positioned beside the existing convention center and designed specifically for private receptions and high-level gatherings. Surrounded by dense tropical nature, the project draws inspiration from the climbing plants that grow throughout the region.

These forms were digitally modeled and translated into three-dimensional façade panels that wrap around the building, creating a sculptural envelope that evokes the presence of intertwined vines. Although the exterior presents a dense, organic texture, the interior remains visually open. Large transparent glass surfaces allow guests to experience the ocean beyond, maintaining a clear connection between the interior spaces and the surrounding landscape. The result is a contemporary venue that merges advanced fabrication techniques with the natural character of its coastal setting.
